What's Next for Envision Victor?
As Envision Victor wraps up its work, we're proud to report on how our work will continue beyond project conclusion. In a very productive meeting with Victor’s City Council and several members of Victor’s Planning & Zoning Board last week, Envision Victor’s Project Partners (City of Victor, VARD, TVTAP, Orton Family Foundation, and two citizens-at-large) put together a plan to integrate several of EV’s successful processes, products, and spirit into existing City functions.
The ideas we considered range from how to use EV’s values, mind map, CViz model, and 3D model, to how EV’s Best Practices may be incorporated into the City’s outreach and communication efforts. EV’s Project Partners have been very pleased with the positive response we received from the Mayor and Victor City Councilors, who were very eager to implement as many of these ideas as possible.
Over the last two years, Envision Victor has experimented with numerous different methods of outreach, a variety of feedback tools, and several cutting-edge technologies to figure out which ones work best in our community. We are very glad that Council and P&Z are committed to incorporating these lessons, and we are confident that they are going to be fantastic stewards of all of this incredible work from the community.
We'll be posting a final report summarizing the whole project within the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for that soon.
